Great way to start.
This plane was my first one and am still enjoying it a lot. However, before taking this plane on its maiden flight, I would highly recommend practicing the control on a computer simulator. While in the air, the plane is very smooth and respond slowly allowing the user to keep control in case of a mistake.

Defective wing compromises otherwise decent model
This model was not difficult to assemble, but I discovered on the maiden flight that the trailing edge of the right wing was warped, causing the model to bank severely to the left. I've performed some minor corrective surgery to wing, with some positive effect, but it's going to take more to get the aileron trim close to where it should be, and even, then, it won't be...

This model was not difficult to assemble, but I discovered on the maiden flight that the trailing edge of the right wing was warped, causing the model to bank severely to the left. I've performed some minor corrective surgery to wing, with some positive effect, but it's going to take more to get the aileron trim close to where it should be, and even, then, it won't be ideal, as I'm necessarily changing the airfoil to eliminate the tendency to bank left. I would be very reluctant to recommend this model to anyone, or to buy any of Multiplex's other foam aircraft.
