5.0 out of 5 stars Zud, it really works!, July 2, 2006

I found this product by accident in a salvage store. It was the only bottle they had. I tried it and was amazed. I'm not amazed very often. We have lousy rusty water that turns everything dirty orange. The sinks, the rubber mats in the sink, you name it. I tried bleach, all the different cleaners at the local Wal-mart, everyone of the "guaranteed to get rust out" cleaners. None worked. Then I found Zud. I'm not exaggerating, it is incredible. No scrubbing, no work, just squirt it in the sink, take a sponge and wipe it all over the surface, and leave for a couple minutes. When you come back it will be gleaming white. Really! If there's anything left, you can scrub gently, it comes right off. The absolute best product I have ever tried. I hate to clean, but when I use Zud I get such a sense of accomplishment, that cleaning isn't so bad. The only problem I have is that none of the stores around here carry it. I have it order it online and pay considerable shipping costs, but it's still worth it. If you have to order it, check around because some dealers try to charge $50 for shipping. There are places that only charge $14. I recommend Zud to anyone who has dingy sinks. You can use it on other things too, but it excells at turning a sink that looks ancient and rusty into a a sink that looks a new gleaming white.

5.0 out of 5 stars Did what my China manufacturer said it would, April 17, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 19 oz. Zud Multipurpose Liquid Cleaner (74610RC) Category: Scouring Compounds (Kitchen)
I have some everyday China that has, over the years, been heavily marked by what looked like scratches or cracks. The manufacturer's instructions said the glaze was hard enough that utensils left metal fragments, giving the illusion of scratches, and recommended Zud to remove the marks. I never had Zud, and regular washing didn't touch the marks. Years later, after opening a replacement piece and noticing the huge difference in appearance between the new dish and the marked up older dishes, I finally bought some Zud and gave it a try. WOW. It took off the marks and made the older dishes look like new.

5.0 out of 5 stars Zud doesn't scratch tubs!, August 31, 2007
This review is from: 19 oz. Zud Multipurpose Liquid Cleaner (74610RC) Category: Scouring Compounds (Kitchen)
My bathtub is one of those that you put on top of existing old tubs so you don't have to totally replace the old heavy tub. Anyway, I was told to use a non-abrasive cleaner. This was harder to find than I thought because even Soft Scrub has abrasive particles in it. I found Zud by accident at a Target or Kmart 6 years ago and tried it. It was amazing! One minute after you squirt and spread it on the bathtub surface, the dirt and any waterstains are gone when you wipe it off with one of those cellulose (no-scratch) sponges. You have to use it with the windows open so there's airflow but, otherwise, it's perfect for cleaning.
