My son has a retainer for his "final stage" of braces. He didn't like the case the orthodontist gave him because it was too girly. This turned out to be a costly issue for me when he threw the retainer away at school when it was on his lunch tray. I went looking for a case at stores and no one had any and like I mentioned the orthodontist only had ones that were pink. I found these cases through Amazon and bought 2 - that was about 2 months ago. My son always knows where his retainer is now when it's not in his mouth.

Okay - if you've got a teenager with a retainer then you must buy these. I figure a retainer costs about $150 to replace and these beauties run about $3 a piece. You do the math. Put one in their school backpack, keep one in your car and take one along to the movies. You'll never throw away, sit on, loose your kid's retainer again! (okay -- of course you will, but you'll reduce the number of times!)

While researching this product (for my teenage son) from various stores, it became STRESSFUL on finding one to fit my needs.Some were too expensive,some were to small,most were made out of cheap plastic(toxic),and some had no discription at all. When I got to the Multipurpose Dental retainer,I knew exactly what I was getting.It's description was eye catching because it detailed the fact that the retainer was a night guard and orthodontic Retainer,which is exactly what I was looking for.None of the other cases said they could be used for retainers which meant to me that they could possibly only be for dentures which are smaller and less bulkier than Retainers,thus, the case would be too small.With the prices they were asking for these cases,I had to be sure my Retainer would fit in case. The Multipurpose Dental Mouth Night Guard & Orthodontic Retainer Case was very descriptive in stating the fact that my retainer would fit comfortably in case,the case was sturdy and wouldn't pop open causing the retainer to fall out,and it was deep enough to fit up to 2 retainers(which is definitely what I needed). The price was reasonable with the description,so I purchased it,by the way which came with 3 in a pack.At first I thought I didn't need 3 but once I got them, my son was able to keep one in his book bag for school,keep one at home in bathroom cabinet,and keep one in family car.This way if we went out and he forgot to bring his case,there would be one in the car to place his retainer in,being that he had to remove them when eating.Since receiving the product,I found the description to be exactly as specified. My son has top and bottom Retainers and they both fit comfortably in case without any hassle.The cases are sturdy and durable and not bulky at all. They are easy to clean and I get piece of mind knowing my son has a place to put his retainers while eating,instead of placing them in a paper towel or someplace and then accidentally throwing them away.THAT IS DEFINITELY A PLUS BEING THAT RETAINERS ARE $250.00 A PIECE TO REPLACE!!!

Looking at the product's image, I originally thought the price was for three cases. The description was not clear when I originally purchase. I read all the reviews just to be sure. One past review by (Claudia Baptista on May 17, 2010) stated she received three cases. I thought that was good deal. Boy I was wrong. As a result of contacting the seller regarding my complaint, the seller added a product feature section stating that now it was for a single case, not three.

In regards to the product itself, just too major negatives, which in hindsight, would prevent me on purchasing this product.
-Marble black case does not have breathable holes.
-Total price with shipping is expensive. Shipping cost is more than the product itself.

The best thing you can do is buy these when the braces come off and the retainer starts. I bought three of the blue cases for my son. I don't want to replace retainers.

So if that's what you're expecting, you'll be pleased. If you though it was a going an ipad then you're going to be unpleasantly suprised.

Good size, sturdy case. Closes well and has never popped open yet. Interestingly enough I ordered two of these (one for me and one for the wife) and one had drainage holes in it (to let water out). They should have been identical, so I'm not really sure what happened there. Doesn't really matter, but just thought I'd let you know!

All in all we're both pleased with these. Again, you can't play "Angry Birds" with it, but it WILL hold your mouthguard.

Our order was processed and shipped promptly, but when we received the night guard cases, we discovered that they had breathing holes which pretty much make the case useless if you need to keep your night guard or retainer stored in water. Holes are small and not visible in the illustration.

fast shipping, very good product, now I can have my retainers stored while not in use, and can take them with me when I travel.

I put the denture in. I tried to close it. It doesn't close. My denture is too high.
I'm keeping it in case I get a new one that might fit, but I do not have high hopes.
