Better than BarBri handsdown,

Straight forward "attack" outlines with great devices to remember all elements, especially for the hardest topics (Secured Trans, UCC Art 3 etc).
Plus this book has practice essays with full answers - at the end of each outline. I took BarBri and failed the Feb 08 Idaho bar. I used this aid in stead for July's 2008 - I felt twice as prepared for the MEE this time.

The amount of type-o's, grammatical mistakes, and ambiguous statements of law in this book is embarrassing. It's as if no one bothered to give it a read-through before it was published. That being said, it's well organized and comprehensive; just don't expect a masterpiece.

OK as a supplement - but highly summarized and has errors,

I think it's worth it to buy this book as a quick supplemental review. I did like the outlines that it has for some of the subjects (like the negotiable instruments and secured transactions). The MBE subject reviews are so incredibly short they are useless, ie con law, property, with the idea that you would buy their MBE review book (which is fine). But I wish they had left the MBE subjects out altogether to make the book smaller and less $$. Although the statement that it has "essay questions and answers" is true, those sections are very short - very useful - I agree, but more like bullet points than essay answers. The book has errors too, such as the last answer for one section is actually the answer for another section - so there was no [or a huge gap in] proof-reading of the book. That's a concern for me. But as a supplement and using it to get myself to go thru the short 'essay' questions - I thought that practice was helpful and don't regret buying this book.
