5.0 out of 5 stars Not a knock off brand!!!
Do your research before posting reviews. Please note, Bayer was bought out by Siemens, and the label on the bottle will reflect this. I'm in no way linked to the company, just a long term T1DM that uses these strips daily. Their straight from Bayer or should I say Siemens, the same company!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works but not Bayer's, September 11, 2009
This review is from: Multistix 10 S G Reagent Strips for Urinalysis, Tests for 10 separate reagents in Urine, 100 (Health and Beauty)
Note this product is NOT from Bayer. The brand is actually Siemens. So the photo and the search tag are misleading. Good thing is the product does work. The strips give similar results as the Bayer Multistix 10 SG strips. The price is not bad but not the cheapest either. I could find $32-33 online in some other stores.

The strips themselves are fine. BUT..they arrived in mid-October with an expiration date of November 2009. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to use 100 strips in that time frame. I emailed the company about this issue but got no response.

I purchased these multisticks after reading reviews that the cheaper, generic version had a tendency to bleed. My strips say Siemens, not Bayer (if that makes any difference). Since these are the first test strips I have ever purchased, I have nothing to compare to. But, don't let anyone tell you that these things don't bleed, from pad to pad (producing colors not on the chart). I found that I could stop much of the bleeding by dabbing the side of the test strip on tissue paper.

Still, I think I'll try the generic next time ;-)

3.0 out of 5 stars Caution - expiration date, July 31, 2009
This review is from: Multistix 10 S G Reagent Strips for Urinalysis, Tests for 10 separate reagents in Urine, 100 (Health and Beauty)
Please note that all test strips have an expiration date.
You may find yourself with a bottle of 100 strips which expire within a month.
I do not see an expiration date listed in the product description.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not What Implied, October 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Multistix 10 S G Reagent Strips for Urinalysis, Tests for 10 separate reagents in Urine, 100 (Health and Beauty)
This Box was labeled, in fine print, "Origin: UK". In another place it was labeled "Not Intended For Use In the USA". I'm not sure how Amazon can sell these in the USA. My faith in Amazon has gone to zero. Since I had not read the fine print on the box until now, as a result of another review I read, I guess I will just reorder from one of my, non-Amazon, trusted suppliers.

1.0 out of 5 stars didn't get what i ordered, July 11, 2009
This review is from: Multistix 10 S G Reagent Strips for Urinalysis, Tests for 10 separate reagents in Urine, 100 (Health and Beauty)
I ordered Bayer and got a generic brand. the picture is misleading and appears to be Bayer until you receive it. It is hard to know how to return their products

This review is from: Multistix 10 S G Reagent Strips for Urinalysis, Tests for 10 separate reagents in Urine, 100 (Health and Beauty)
The photo needs to be changed to reflect the real product is a generic brand test strip.
