I know this is for boots, but I bought it for my dog. He has problem. He is what people call a dribbly drinker. More water ended up on the floor than in his mouth. No longer a problem. This stops the drips and is large enough to cover his drip space AND have room for his food dish.

I was a little disappointed in the stiffness of the plastic. I had hoped for something a little more pliable. The stiff plastic slides around on the hardwood floor a bit, but other than that, it does it's job. Pine needles and raindrops are well contained in the 1" lip on the tray.

I live out in the country and we have alot of mud. My entryway was always a mess until I got this! It works great in a small area, very sturdy and keeps the mess confined! I Love It!!

This item was exactly as described - it's got a nice edge around the sides to catch water, and the ridges on the bottom of it allow your boots/shoes to sit just high enough that the snow/water drains and they dry quickly. This is exactly what we needed!

This tray is small & overpriced. Target has a boot tray that is almost identical in their dollar section. Walmart has a bigger cheaper boot tray in their store. I wish I hadn't been so impatient and just waited to get one until I had the time to run out. Don't waste your money.

After searching every home renovation supply and accessory store looking for a boot tray that would fit in our humble vestibule I found my solution!! Just in time for some more snow!!! Can't wait for spring to really put it to good use. and it's just the right size..surprise!! We don't have a mcmansion and finding home accessories is hard as everything is sooo large.

The tray does retain melted snow and prevent puddles on the floor (how could it not?) but the ridges for the boots to rest on are minimalist and do not allow enough air to circulate and dry the boot soles. Consequently, even after a couple of days, when I removed the boots to wear them the soles were still wet, which present the challenge of donning them without creating watermarks on the floor.

My pets are messy eaters and drinkers and I have hardwood floors in the kitchen.
Living in south Texas, we don't have snow so I was unable to find boot trays in any stores down here.
It works perfectly as a pet placemat. If they spill water, the raised edges keep it from getting on the hardwood floors.
Cost more than I could have bought it for up north but cheaper than resanding the hardwood.

This tray holds 3 pairs of shoes at one time. The channels that are intended to separate the water from the shoes are not that deep, so pools of water will collect, keeping the soles of the shoes wet. Most importantly though, this keeps my floors dry, and for the price, this product works perfectly.
