The best thing about this book is the text. But it's not what you notice first. What you'll notice is the giant color photographs and maps that make you want to stare at every single page.
This book has interesting information for everyone in your family ; it is very readable even for young people. Great illustrations of Egyptian work sites, and very good information about Egyptian burials, politics, and the Valley of the Kings.

I really liked the book and will use it when teaching about Ancient Egypt in school. It focuses on famous mummies of the pharaohs.
