I liked the game for its great graphics and the way you can decipher the coded messages, you can pick your characters most levels, and that it gives you a password for each level you finish. It has four game modes: forced side scroller, non-forced side scroller, shooter and sword fighting. In forced side scroller you keep running from an entity and can't stop, in non-forced side scroller (my favorite mode) you can maneuver yourself through the level, in shooter you just shoot and duck (boring), and in sword-fighting you can't even jump or anything (more boring). It was so much like the movie that it was like playing through the film! But it was boring and not very challenging---you can finish this game in a few hours. The levels just repeat themselves except that the backgrounds change and the controls are confusing because the game doesn't tell you what mode the upcoming level is, and the controls for each mode change. I expected the game to be much better than this.

"The Mummy Returns" is one of the coolest GBC games around. The great thing about it is how similar it is to the movie. If you've seen "The Mummy Returns" movie then you'll know what the game will be. From the start to finish it's awsome. There are 4 modes of play. Running away, Regular Play (going through a level with guns or weapons), Fighting, And First-Person Shooter. For the game you can play as three characters. Evy, Rick, And Ardeth with the exception of being the blimp from the canyon chase. You can play different modes for each level. You could do Regular Play as Rick, First-Person Shooter As Evy, And Fight as Ardeth all in the same level!! The graphics are very good. The levels are great. And the game in total is Soooooo Cool! If you liked "The Mummy Returns" then you'll love the game!

The Mummy Returns for GBC is an awesome game. The graphic quality is good and it follows right along with the movie. There are only a few problems. There not big problems, though. One is the length. I beat about half of the game in a half an hour. Ofcourse the first few levels are easier than the others, but I beat them quickly. Besides that it is an extremely good game! Highly reccomended for advanced game players looking for something new (The Mummy and the Mummy Returns are almost totally different) or new players just learning.

The kids loved this game and so did their father. It has several levels which keeps it from getting old and boring too soon.

Would recommend - ages 6 and up.

Finally, they make a very good game for game boy color. In this game you play 12 levels. This game is a hard one. I already made it through all 12 levels and it was hard. It was also fun. But, this game might not be fun for the kids. Oh well. Think before you buy this for your kids, parents. Thanks.

This is a fun game which has one or two flaws but you wont even think of that because you are having so much fun
