From the Manufacturer

Kids love to learn everywhere...so why not in the tub? 26 floating letters and numbers come in 6 colors to provide endless opportunities for a delightful learning experience. When the shapes are wet, they stick to the tub wall to spell names and places or add numbers. The foam is soft, durable and non-toxic. So splish, splash, when they're taking a bath... throw in a little learning, too.

Really surprised about the reviews that claim these smell toxic, they don't. Plus they are non-toxic so anything you smell wouldn't be toxic. Do they have a smell? Yes they do, at first. Does it stink? No, it doesn't. The smell reminds me of first opening most swimmng toys, or lots of toys/items made of similar material. My daughters and I were smelling them and we all thought they smelled good. After the first bath time the smell was a lot less but still there a little if you put them right to your nose.

These letters are PERFECT, we have had a ton of bath toys I really hated but Love these.
*They are a nice big size-about 2 1/4-2 1/2"wide & 3"tall(they're all slightly different)
*Easy to pick up & hold
*Stick super easy, just wet and stick(they even stick to skin)
*They can be stored ON the wall and don't fall off during showers
*They are non-absorbant so no worries of mold/bacteria
*They are very durable, won't break or tear easily, yet are soft
*They float
*Bright colors, multi colors, colors don't fade
*Lots of fun
*Great interactive/learning toy(if parents participate)
*Fun for Mom & Dad too...every shower we try and think of new & clever words or messages to leave eachother...it is fun & quite hilarious...at least for now because my girls are 2 1/2 and can not spell yet ;)

My daughter loves these letters (she's two and a half). She totes them around the house and "spells" words, and she sorts them into color groups. She loves them in the bath as well -- they stick well to the tub and even our textured tile. She likes to perform science experiments with them, seeing if the letters will stick to her head.

I did not notice any type of odor when we opened them. I also gave these as a gift, and the recipients did not experience what other reviewers mention. I did buy these locally at a large retailer for less than the price listed here. Perhaps there are different suppliers, and the online ones had a bad batch?

I recommend these. It's the kind of toy my daughter will play with for years.

We purchased this product at an on-ground retailer because my daughter likes playing in the tub. She played with these letters every time she got in the tub, since she was about 16-18 months old. She quickly learned her alphabet and her numbers, and was able to identify them everywhere (i.e. on T-shirts, on signs, trucks, etc.).

They are great because they stick on the wall or side of the tub when the are wet, which makes it fun. We ask her to find a letter and she pulls it out of the water and slaps it on the side of the tub. It makes bath time a lot of fun.

I've read some of the other reviews complaining that the letters stink, which was definitely not the case for us. They must have gotten a bad batch or something.

For the price, you really can't beat this product. It's a great learning tool, that is a lot of fun (for the child and the parents).

I bought these from Amazon for my son when he was sixth months old and teething. They are his favorite bath time toys and they are great to chew on for teethers. He is now 11 months old and is starting to learn how to stick them up on the side of the bathtub. I also keep a few handy near the changing table for him to hold and chew on while he's being changed. The letters and numbers are very durable and have not broken off in pieces. The only downside is that they have bite marks all over them from him chewing on them.

I bought these for my son (then 10 months old) because he only wanted to pull up and stand when in the tub. I needed something fun to distract him. These foam letters did the trick. He loves moving them around on the side of the tub and enjoys trying to stack them up in his hands. As he gets older these will continue to provide entertainment in new ways (when learning to spell and sound out words). I am very happy with the purchase.

This is a great toy. I hate the squirt toys because you have to squeeze them out every time and mold will still build up. These are fun and safe. THEY WILL MOLD but takes much longer. to remove the mold, you just stick them in the washing machine with hot water and a bit of bleach. extra rinse. don't dry in a dryer (obviously?).

My son has so much fun with them, stacking, sorting, "spelling". Great gift idea!

My son loves these little letters and numbers. He especially loves to chew on them. I like that I can spell his name and stick it on the bathroom wall. He enjoys pulling them down and dropping them into the bath. They seem durable so far. Many of them have teeth marks in them though. They come in an assortment of pretty colors and as far as I know will stick to any surface when wet. I can see us using these to identify letters and numbers down the road. For now they are the perfect chew toy for the bath!

Really, these toys smell awful. The smell made us all light headed as soon as we opened them. They are now on the back porch off gassing and airing out. But they still smell two days later. Hopefully the smell will go away so we can enjoy them, but I seriously worry about our son sucking on them and playing with them since they smell so bad.
