We actually got The First Years rack as well as the Munchkin drying racks, and neither was very useful.

This Munchkin Drying Rack holds lots of "snap out" pieces that fit in the Medela bottle lids (to close off breast milk after you pump), but little else. The bottle holders are kind of nice 4-8" tall stalks you can put the bottle on, but the stalks aren't much use for nipples. We don't use the lids with the snap out pieces, so it was pretty useless for us. It might be more helpful for those who use Tri-Flow bottles, since they are also made by Munchkin.

Another popular option, the First Years Rack, holds most bottles/accessories in the front, but didn't hold them very well in some cases. Dr. Brown's bottles didn't fit well at all. The back area holds a scrubbing brush (which we liked - keeps it vertical and dry), but wasn't very good at holding nipples or bottle lids (from Playtex Naturalatch Bottles, in this case). My wife took one look, tried to place a part or two and sent me back with it.

It holds 8 bottles as well as other accessories on those same "projections"... it has places to dry the miscellaneous little parts of a breast pump and can fit the breast pump shields with no problem. A side by side comparison of the three racks makes it no comparison!

I use this drying rack daily for up to eight bottles and toddler cups. I'm always drying a combination of both. The nice thing is that they all fit. The lower holders get a bit crowded with 8 nipples and/or cup tops, but I just throw them on. If you only have six items on the lower portion, they fit very well, even nipples (Avent & Playtex). The front part works decently for the cup stoppers, and even a pacifier, but sometimes it needs to be tipped over and drained out so they don't sit in water. I don't think it was even made for them, but it works. I also like how the Munchkin bottle brush (my favorite) has a special spot in the drying rack too, so I always know where it is....Overall, it's a great item for the price.

This is one of my favorite things for baby. It doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter, and keeps the counter dry and neat. There's plenty of room for several small and large bottles, nipples, and breast pump parts, all drying at once. There's even a slot for a bottle brush.

The only thing that could improve this product is if there was a drain value for the water that collects at the bottom. But if you're not washing a lot of items (bottles, nipples and pump parts) at the same time, it should be fine.

This is one great bottle rack. I use the ventaire bottles, and the vent that goes in the bottom of the bottle fits perfectly in the rack on the bottom. I was just drying the bottles on a towel on the counter, but having them up so the air can circulate helps them dry so much faster. I also like that the rack has a closed bottom. All of the water that drips stays in the tray, not on the counter!!

I came across this one at a local store and it was less than $5. So I decided to give it a try. My usual M.O. is to put clean bottles/pieces on the counter top with a bunch of paper towels. Ugly, took up a lot of space, water everywhere! Couldn't get to the bread box or coffee pot until bottles were dry. Couldn't scoot the paper towel with wet bottles on top out of the way or bottles would shoot all over my kitchen and I would have to re-wash them. It was driving me nuts!

So I get home with this rack and hand wash it for its maiden voyage. I go through my daily mass bottle and pieces washup, and load them up onto this rack-they dry fast and I could scoot the rack around on the counter top to get to things that were blocked off by the paper towel deal before. Hooray! Water goes into the bottom of this rack, not all over the counter top. YES! Bottles dry quickly to be put away instead of perpetually junking up my counter tops! WAHOO! Pegs fold down, so you can put things that don't need to be "hung up" on the rack and water can still drain out of them. Yeeehaw! Great for odd sized things like nipples. This folding feature also allows for easy storage, same as say a cutting board or something. PTL! This rack is top-rack dishwasher safe, so you can give it a good clean off once a week without handwashing. LOVE IT!

I would highly recommend this as an economical, versatile, easy to use solution for bottle/pump parts drying.

We bought this drying rack after our daughter (1st born) was born in June 2005. I absolutely LOVE it! The only thing I didn't realize until after I bought it was that it did NOT have any holes for the water to drain into the sink. My husband used his drill and bore two small holes in the bottom of the rack, and now it works perfectly!

If I had it to do over again, I would DEFINITELY buy this rack again!

I chose to nurse my first child, and I use this rack for drying pump parts, but I also think it works very well for her bottles too. The nipples sit right on the pegs. All bottle and pump parts stays neat, clean and organized.
