5.0 out of 5 stars Love this brush!
It is nice-looking, which is good, because I can leave it suction-cupped to the counter next to my sink for easy access; sturdy; comfortable to hold and use; and the bristles are strong and sturdy-they are long enough to scrub into weird crevices, like the vent mechanisms of Dr. Brown's bottles (not the little hole portions-use the little brush those bottles come with or...

3.0 out of 5 stars RUST on tip of nipple brush otherwise great design
I love the grip, the suction cup and the nipple brush integrated in the handle, but this is my second brush because I got sick of looking at the rust on the tip of the nipple brush. The next one rusted just the same, but I use it all the time so it is otherwise durable. I agree that the bristles could be softer (the top bristles mat down) and it does spray all over when...

I love the grip, the suction cup and the nipple brush integrated in the handle, but this is my second brush because I got sick of looking at the rust on the tip of the nipple brush. The next one rusted just the same, but I use it all the time so it is otherwise durable. I agree that the bristles could be softer (the top bristles mat down) and it does spray all over when cleaning a narrow mouth bottle. I know better than to buy a brush with a sponge on the end. Why cant they make it all plastic like Avent so there is no rust to deal with?

It is nice-looking, which is good, because I can leave it suction-cupped to the counter next to my sink for easy access; sturdy; comfortable to hold and use; and the bristles are strong and sturdy-they are long enough to scrub into weird crevices, like the vent mechanisms of Dr. Brown's bottles (not the little hole portions-use the little brush those bottles come with or a pipe cleaner for that), yet flexible enough that they "squish" to fit into any bottle-wide bottles, narrow bottles, or even the wide-mouth vent shaft tops of Dr. Brown's bottles. I've used this brush with Dr. Brown's, Avent, Medela (even the ones for the breast pump), generic bottles and bottle accessories, as well as breast pump parts.

I love that the little nipple brush fits into the handle of the main brush. The color choices are nice.

We even bought another one to keep at the babysitter's!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best brush!, June 11, 2007
This review is from: Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Brush, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)

This is the best bottle brush! Worth every penny!
It has lasted longer than any other one I have ever bought & it does not have the sponge like the other brushes. It works great, stands on its own which I find practical and sanitary. It cleans extremely well and the nipple brush attaching right on the bottom is very convenient. Just love it!

ASIN B000E89BNU - It seems like I might be the only one reviewing this for a use other than scrubbing baby bottles. Which I find weird. Just thought I'd mention that.

I've got a fairly large collection of barware that has gotten more dusting than use, so I decided to put it back into service - because booze always goes good with a recession. The trouble is that many of the taller glasses have mouths that are far smaller than my hands and cleaning them was driving me... well, to dirty others. This brush takes care of those glasses just fine.

The suction cup that hides the nipple brush? Well, okay, that's a little superfluous for me. I like the suction cup, though, because it keeps the brush in one place. Things tend to get lost around the bar, which probably has something to do with all the drinking. The nipple brush, I have yet to find a current use for, but back when I had a bottle-drinker, I Krazy Glued the suction cup in place because the wire of the nipple brush does rust.

On the baby bottle front, I couldn't resist. With so many complaints about splashing water, I thought there might be some IQ deficiency in users of the brush, so I got out my kid's old bottles and gave it a whirl. Yes, it splatters a little water, but come on, you've got a kid who drinks from bottles, the odds are really good that you've recently dealt with ickier things than a little clean water sprinkling your cheeks. Here is a tip (not specific to this brush, just some common sense): when removing the brush from the bottle, point the bottle down into the sink, instead of into your face. I'm not seeing this as super complicated.

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit through bottles easily, July 12, 2010

I actually don't like this brush and I'm going to purchase a different 1. The bristles are so stiff that it is very difficult to push it through the bottle (I use Dr. Brown's) and when you pull the brush OUT of the bottle soap suds splatter EVERYWHERE b/c they're flung by the stiff bristles. I like the idea of the nipple brush incorporated into the brush itself though.

One of the good things about this brush is that it can stand on its handle. That means you can avoid the bristles from touching the dirty kitchen counter or worse rolling to the floor.

It is sturdier than their other bottle brush because there is no foam at the tip that can get detached. But it is the same reason why I prefer the other cheaper Munchkin product. The foam at the end helps to clean the bottom of the bottle much better. This one is all bristles

Also the handle is almost at the middle which gets in the way when brushing the taller bottles. The handle scratches the mouth of the bottle.

1.0 out of 5 stars there are better brushes out there., August 24, 2011
This review is from: Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Brush, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)
I wanted to title this review as 'do not buy' or 'I hate this brush' but then I realized maybe it might work better for wide bottle openings like Avent or Dr. Brown, while I use Evenflo. I do not like this brush because
1. the bristles are hard. when pulling the brush out, my whole forearm gets wet from the spray. by the time i'm done cleaning bottles, my forearm is drenched.
2. the bristles are wide so i practically have to jam it into the bottle with force. a few time my soapy grip slipped and i ended up jamming my thumb.

Avent makes a better brush with softer bristles and it works fine for narrow bottle openings so one size fits all.

1.0 out of 5 stars This brush SUCKS, October 4, 2010
This review is from: Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Brush, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)
This brush doesn't even get the bottles clean and trust me I scrubbed quite vigorously. It's too big and the bristles are too stiff for normal bottles and water sprays everywhere when you pull this brush out of a bottle. Waste of TIME and MONEY.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good brush, but can leave scratches, April 10, 2008

We got this brush after trying a couple of others and are very happy with it. The big brush washes our Avent and Born Free bottles very well and quickly, and the little brush attachment washes the nipples perfectly. It's easy to use and the suction cup feature is nice - no brushes lying around in a germy sink. I only have a couple of small complaints on this brush:

#1 - You really need the small brush insert in place to make the full brush comfortable to use. This isn't a big deal, but it can be kind of annoying (I have twins, so I was LOTS of bottles) I started washing all the nipples first, reinserting the brush, and then doing the bottles.

#2 - The bristles at the top of the brush are very coarse, and do scratch the bottom of my bottles. I would prefer that the brush just had all soft bristles (the white ones on the side are much softer) but have yet to find such a brush. If you are gentle, however, the scratching can be minimized.

All in all, a good, well-shaped brush for bottles and other baby stuff like bottles, and even high chair trays.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this bottle brush!, February 4, 2008
This review is from: Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Brush, Colors May Vary (Baby Product)
I was given this bottle brush at my baby shower. It is a little wide, so cleaning our bottles (Dr. Brown's standard) can be slightly difficult, but it gets the job done! I love that it has a suction cup base so that the brush stays clean while not in use. It's a great product, however, I would not buy it on Amazon. It's available at Target for less than half of the price listed here! Save your money and make a trip to Target!
