Munchkin Flexible Dishwasher Basket, Colors May Vary

I really needed this for the straws from Camelbak water water bottles plus my kids straw cups - I kept finding them at the bottom of the dishwasher, they don't stay in the regular toddler basket. The adult water bottle straws have to go in at an angle, they're too long but they still fit OK. Also, regular chopsticks are too long to fit, but the kids starter chopsticks do fit sideways. The inside top attachment (the green row) keeps falling off, though. It stays on once you close it but I have to fiddle with it every time I load it again so I took one star away. All in all, I wish I found this sooner.

I had one of these mesh baskets without the inserts and it stretched out and everything just piled up inside. This works perfectly for keeping all my little parts upright, so they actually get clean. I haven't used it for straws, but the holes are really well sized for Medela pump parts and Dr Browns bottle parts, including nipples. So if that is what you need it for, I think it is well worth it.

I bought this to keep track of the straws from my sons sippy cups. It does that, but there aren't many straw holders in the basket itself. Not a huge deal since we throw them in there loose, but I would like it more if it had all straw holders and none for bottle nipples. Either way I'd buy it again since it does keep the straws in one place and not melting on the bottom of the dishwasher.

I've been looking for this mesh bag that I can put inside our dishwasher! My kid uses this skinny straws for his drinking cups and I always find them at the bottom of the dishwasher everytime I ran the dishwasher. I had to re-wash them by hand. This item is made with a fine mesh material and I think most of your tiny parts will stay inside. If you are looking for the dishwasher basket that holds small items that the regular baby dishwasher baskets won't hold, this is it :) The reason I took a star away is because this is cheaply made... but hey, the price is about $6 and I definitely dont want to pay more than that for a dishwasher basket. So, for being this price, I think it is alright. It does what it supposed to do. Now, I dont need to hand wash them like I used to do. Just don't expect for this item to be made great... It is cheaply made because it is cheap! As long as you know that, you will not be disappointed.

I didn't buy this for baby nipples, child straws, etc. I bought this to contain the small pieces of my wonderful Thermos Sipp Stainless Steel Travel Tumbler. This basket won't stay closed in the dishwasher, which may not matter if you have baby items, but will not work for very small, flat items.

This works for me well enough, but on one side it doesn't snap close, I think it is a knock off. Little things will fall out if that is why you are getting it then don't.

It doesn't take up a lot of room and the mesh is flexible. Everything gets clean in it! It doesn't fit a lot but it is good for certain items which is why I got it.

I bought this because the standard dishwasher basket let the inserts to our sippy cups fall right through. Not to mention took up a ton of space in the dishwasher. This solved both problems. Now, I don't have to search for missing inserts and I have more space in my dishwasher. Very happy.

I bought this thinking that it would be easier for me to clean straws and zippy straw cup nipples. I think that it works for what it does. If you want to clean straws, clean straws. Not much fits in there underneath. Looking at the picture it looks like a great fit. I would have to say that it isn't as nice a fit as it should be. Like with the straws, once you get them in there, you may have to push down pretty far to make sure the top closes. Then you are looking at the possibility of warping them if you have something underneath them. Ok lets talk straw nipples. A little difficult to stay in place, but once you got them in place do it and then close the basket and don't open again. Again, it is difficult to put things underneath them. So, my suggestion is that if you buy this, know that you are probably only going to get one thing clean at once and really might just want to buy it to clean lose stuff that you can't put on the bottom shelf. I prefer to buy the deluxe dishwasher basket, because it does all the things I mentioned without fail. The only drawback to that is that it takes up room and eventually the little plastic prongs holding your straws in break off, leaving that straw holder unusable.

This product is great! I wish I knew about it sooner. It hold the straws from sippy cups upright during cleaning. I have been using it for several months now and it is showing no sign of wear. This would make a great gift!
