Kids love them- great for bath time!

Water gets stuck inside them after a bath and then gets moldy and gross and is squirted out into the next bath.

My 7 month old daughter loves these toys both in and out of the bath!

I emailed the company, as I do with all baby toys I purchase to see if they are made with BPA, PVC, or phthalates . These are made out of PVC, and are toxic. Very cute but toxic.

My 5 month old daughter was chewing on the blue whale when i looked in her mouth and there was blue on her tongue. These are made in china and theres nothing to indicate that they are bpa-free or pthalate-free, but besides that its clear they are cheaply made and who knows whats in the paint. Terrible product.

The product description says '9 years and up'. This is listed in the baby bath toys section. BE CAREFUL in purchasing these products that are mislabeled or miscategorized. Look for phthalate-free toys for babies that chew/teethe on everything.

Although the bright colorful little squirter toys were fun for my son, after awhile - the water that was left in the little toys went stagnant and started molding inside the toy. If you don't empty the water from the squirters completely, you'll end up with foul smelling mold inside the toys. I would guess they need to be rinsed out really well after each bath. I have three sons therefore have three showers/baths every night and don't have time to carefully rinse these little toys.

We finally tossed them and are going for toys that don't get water stuck in them or you can rinse them out easier.

I purchased these for my baby for her baths. They are colorful and fun and she liked to play with them. She especially would like it when I would squirt the water through the holes in the sea buddies.

However, after about 2 months, these really began to smell. And I mean really smell, to the point that when the sea buddy is empty of water and it just puffs air, it just really really smells like something rotting. To care for them on a daily basis I would typically squirt out as much as I could, though I admit that I did not always do so.

If you are willing to squirt them out and rinse and squirt again with fresh water, I think my issues with them might have been stalled, but I don't think it would be completely prevented. By the time I discovered this problem, no amount of rinsing or anything like that would get rid of the smell. I just had to toss them. Also, it would just be too much time to clean them after every bath with everything else I am doing for the baby.

For her baths now, I just have her play with fisher price "little people," the newest little people play animals and figures have little holes in the bottom to drain water which really helps, and she likes to play with them. So that is what we are using now.

I would not recommend this product. I give it one star because although this was fun for a while, they just did not stay clean and to even potentially keep them clean (and I don't know that this would solve the problem) would be too much work. Also, there could be potential danger in the mold or whatever it was that was causing that stench.

Unless you are someone who has time to sit at the bathtub every night and squirt out all the water that your kids leave in these things, you will need to replace these fairly often. My son and daughter loves these, but they have a tendency to leave water in them. In a very short period of time they become moldy and nasty. You can suction bleach water, but after a while it seems to stop working and in the end they are just full of moldy water all the time. These work like described and kids do love them, but they are a pain and get really nasty. I'm also not sure why the age is 9 years and up; my son has had these things since he was a year old.

I love these bath toys. I assumed that it was implied that anytime you have bath toys, that you are to squirt out the water from each toy before putting them away. That just seems obvious to me. Sure it is time consuming and tedious but I make it fun and squirt my son with the water and he loves to help me put them away.

These little squirter toys are so fun. My 8 month old son loves to play with them in and out of the tub. They blow air when playing out of the tub which he thinks is hilarious. They are really cute and small so they fit easily in his hands.
