Excelente Cubano jazz!!,

M. Moegon Hernandez <El Indio> formerly with Irakere, the same outfit that Arturo Sandoval and Chucho Valdez played with, is also a virtuoso of the trumpet and flugelhorn. This album features compositions dedicated to the likes of Freddie Hubbard, McCoy Tyner and Woody Shaw, and they are great pieces featuring terrrific solos by the maestro and his band. If you like Cuban jazz, but prefer something with a more hard bop, post-bop feel, this is for you. Highly recommended.
