Spirited animals
These happy animals are a nice pairing with the fun that can be had making all of the animal sounds. A great read along.

Cute Concept, Poorly Executed
What a neat idea! The concept that animals "speak" differently in different languages might be a little hard for a toddler to grasp, but is fun and interesting nonetheless. However, the illustrations and page layout are such that the text is lost. There's nowhere for the reader's eye to rest, and certainly none of the bold, immidiately visible and easily...

I love this book... I bought for my first grandson when he was less than a year old (he is now 6). I read it to him often and also to his sister (who is now 3 1/2)... I have purchased several more copies in the last year to give as a welcome baby gift as well... I love it for the early exposure to many cultures and languages.
