A Must-Have Item for your trip to Munich!,

I just came back from a trip to Munich, and I am SO GLAD that I brought along a copy of "Munich Up Close." I would have been totally lost without it!The streets of Munich are not designed on a simple rectangular grid. They twist, they turn, they change names at intersections. It is very easy to get lost in this city, and most maps only show you the main streets. "Munich Up Close" shows *every* street, and shows pictures of the buildings, so you can find our way around with landmarks, too. My hotel was on a small street, and I don't know if I ever would have found it without this very-detailed map. I never would have found my way back from the Hofbrauhaus late at night without this map, either! Perfect for finding off-the-beaten path locations, but also very useful if you're going to the standard touristy spots, because the city is laid out in a confusing way. Don't leave for Munich without packing this book! |
