Based on his role in "Muppet Treasure Island," Palisades brings us Kermit the Frog as "Captain Abraham Smollet," in all his nautical glory! Complete with sword, sheath, hat, and John Silver's evil cohort, Polly the Lobster, Kermit makes the ultimate display buddy for the previously released Sam Arrow figure. As usual, Palisades gives us a perfectly detailed likeness of the screen version Kermit, right down to the powdered wig. Even Polly is beautifully done! Dare we wish for a figure of Tim Curry as Long John Silver? And how big would human figures have to be to go along with these Muppets? Surely they'd have to have detachable legs to fit into the Muppet playsets, or at least bendable knees. Well, it's something to think about. In the meantime, these Palisades Muppet figures are a dream come true! Keep `em coming! And don't be afraid to venture into Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock as well!
