As lame as it is to be buying a Christmas toy/decoration in September, I had to get this guy right away. For the insanely low price and Prime-eligible shipping, there wasn't a moment of hesitation.

He's quite well made, with the right amount of detail and an adequate amount of articulation - plus, he's very stable. The details are perfect for the Swedish Chef, and the add-ons are quite impressive too. His hat comes off, but is held in place with a rather strong embedded magnet - it's not going to fall off, that's for sure. Additionally, the wreath and string of lights are well detailed and integrate well with the figure's hands and posability.

For 4 bucks, this was a fantastic (albeit frivolous) purchase. He's going to look awesome as a christmas decoration!

This is an excellent figure. Originally it was an exclusive with eBay back in 2004, but now it's simply a great collectible, worth even taking out of the box for those of you who frown upon that.

He has pretty much the same build as the version from the kitchen set, but his nose is more frosty and he has frost on his hair. The Santa beard is indeed attached like a fake Santa beard would be attached - adding realism and hilarity to this character.

He comes with a Santa hat, a wreath and Christmas lights. The hat stays on with a magnet. It's pretty durable but I suppose it's possible to break it if you bend the articulated points too much. The wreath goes great in the kitchen set, if you have it.

Forget Christmas, you need to display this character all year round.

I never would have thought of the Swedish Chef as Santa Claus until I ran across this little figure, and now it just makes sense. Not really a toy but perfect for collectors of Muppet memorabilia or even collectors of Christmas merchandise.
