Haruki Murakami was born in Kyoto in 1949. His first major success came with the publication of Norwegian Wood, and he is now Japan’s best-known novelist abroad. Eight novels, two short story collections and one work of non-fiction are currently available in English translation.

I pre-ordered this thinking it was some sort of diary written by Murakami but when it arrived I found it was just a silly Murakami-themed diary. I am a big fan of Murakami, and it is a bit sad to see this type of misleading marketing associated to his work.
