From School Library Journal
Grade 7-10-In this suspenseful and dramatic story based on the concept of boxed role-play mystery games, Dusty Ellis attempts to discover which of his friends murdered his twin sister. Meg's death was ruled a suicide, but he knows that it wasn't-and he knows why several of their friends might have killed her. After advertising a party in the school newspaper, Dusty drives his friends to his family's vacation home, gives them clues to find hidden messages in the house, and waits to see who will buckle under from fright and guilt. The main characters are lifelike, and at times, all seem guilty. The game ends with a second murder, which serves perfectly to prolong the suspense and set up the surprise ending.Linda Tashbook, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, PA
