Okay, I must admit that I'm a big fan of Donna Andrews's Meg Langslow series. I've read all of them and am anxiously awaiting the release of her new book. I've read them in order and I recommend that approach. However, this series is written such that you don't have to read them all to enjoy one. I found myself laughing out loud more than once and have grown to feel like Meg and her quirky family are close friends. Well written and funny as they can be! A great escape. Enjoy!

I started reading these books and loved them. I went ahead and purchased the rest of the series. They are fun to read.

My favorite books involve mystery and humor. If it is really well written, that is a bonus. Donna Andrews books qualify.

My mother-in-law bought me Donna Andrew's, "The Penguins Who Knew Too Much", and I'm the type who likes to start with authors's first books, so I ordered, "A Murder Hatched", which has her first two books, and they were both enjoyable reads. I have bought the book for my mother-in-law, "A Murder Hatched" which she has highly enjoyed and my daughters have borrowed the book and has given it high ratings also, so I am looking forward to continuing this series from Donna Andrews, and will get to "The Penguins" very soon.
