PAGE-TURNING SUSPENSE,
By Joseph H. Race "Jose Mango" (SAIPAN, MP United States) - See all my reviews (VINE VOICE) (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Murder for Love (Paperback)
Well-written anthology by some of the great mystery writers such as Jonathan Kellerman, Ed McBain, Sara Paretsky, Donna Tartt, etc. There's lots of suspense and twists and turns, and good characterizations. The stories talk of love and hate, and indifference, which can easily turn to murder - no feelings equals no remorse. Love and passion are integrated into the stories, and even has Elmore Leonard's first short story in thirty years. Some stories are gritty and romantic, and most have a cornucopia of stories set for special days such as Valentine's Day or a special anniversary. Stay safe over candlelight...
