MURDER FOR LUNCH by Haughton Murphy introduces the mystery reader to the delightful characters of Reuben Frost and his wife, Cynthia. Mr. Frost is retired from the law firm of Chase & Ward, but he manages to keep his office (if smaller) and find out what is going on at the firm.When a partner dies during lunch at the Hexagon Club matters couldn't be worse as the executive partner shifts the responsibility of the funeral to Mr. Frost and leaves town before it is learned that Graham Donovan was murdered. This quick exit suits Mr. Frost just fine as he searchs to find a way to save his beloved firm from scandal as the CEO is not long on either patience or tact.
