A Mystery Jigsaw Thriller with a Secret Puzzle Image. The picture on box is not the picture of the puzzle itself. The mystery was written by Henry Slesar who published more than 450 short stories and a half dozen mystery novels. He wrote more scripts for Alfred Hitchcock than any other writer and was the winner of two Edgar Awards as well as a television Emmy. 1000 pieces, rated difficult. 1994. Read the story of a deadly game of telephone tag then assemble the puzzle by piecing together the clues. My box isn't opened but the book looks like a softcover on back of box and not a hardback.
