**** For you Bob Warner fans -- I just received notice that Bob passed away in early April 2004 ******
My internal magnet sends me to books about Korea. After "finding" the book, I bought it and started to read it when I had lots of other things to do. I read it from beginning to end in one weekend. As I read this can't-put-it-down novel, I was sure I knew the culprit six times. Six times I was wrong. Like all good mysteries, when the author reveals the "bad guy," we tell ourselves, "I knew that." --- I did not. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would encourage anyone who loves a good mystery to read it NOW!

This book is a spellbinder which will keep your interest from the beginning to the end. If you read and liked the Martin Limon books about the military CID in Korea, such as the Slicky Boys, Jade Lady Burning and Buddha's Money, this fits like a hand in glove. Very enjoyable.
