Easy and quick to set up, easy to learn, but still fun and challenging.

I'm a 4th grade teacher. This game helps players make inferences and develop problem-solving skills. It is also super fun! I would recommend this for family fun game nights or those rainy indoor recess days in the classroom.

We bought this game from a local toy store based on their recommendation as a game to play with the family on Thanksgiving Day. (Unfortunately we also paid even more than this for it which just adds insult to injury...)

Anyway, we started this game and the first few rounds were not fun. We re-read the instructions in hopes of finding an aspect of the game we'd somehow missed that would make it more engaging, but found none.
There is little to no interaction between the players.
Finding the correct answers is a slow, mundane task.
Follow the suggestion to change only one card at a time which makes it easier, but definitely not more fun.
When you do solve the mystery, it's certainly less than exciting.

This game was a complete dud. From a 60+ yr old grandmother, to a 30+ yr old mom, to a 10+ yr old, not one of us thought it was fun. I would have had more fun doing the after-Thanksgiving dishes.
Please, save your money and your time and skip this game!

This game is super fun! It can be played exceptionally with 2 players or in teams with 3 or more players. The game is one of deduction and intrigue. Strategy is the key to winning! Highly recommended!!!

I brought this to my daughter on her birtday.
we had so much fun playing with it that we spent nearly an hour doing it.

It's a game for 2 teams, it can have 2+ players.
It is fully educational, it helps you with figuring out things by clues.

there is only one reason why we don't like this game.
It is very hard to put the mansion together.

As you play this game, it may seem like steam is coming out of your head, it may be hard to figure it out. That is how educational it is.

the game is perfect for rainy days & Family fun night.
I fully recommend this game to everyone who like mysteries, math, & fun.

We bought this for our granddaughter and visited her with game in hand. She played with her dad and with us over and over. She was delighted. Since she is only 6 years old she needed help in understanding the principle behind it. It is like Mastermind but with personalities. A child can learn to guess the answer by process of elimination; like Clue you try to guess who did the crime, in what room, with what weapon. By looking at a guess you made that was incorrect, you try another guess until you figure out the missing cards and the answer. I think a child of 8 years or older would enjoy it without much assistance. A younger child would need an adult's help a few times to get the idea of how it works. Wonderful game!

The Good:This is a fun, "Clue"-like game. We played it with a group from ages 7 to 65 years old.
The Bad: Those with the matematical strategical minds loved the game, figured it out quickly, and won.
The Ugly: The poor schleps who had trouble with the logic of the game became frustrated and disappointed. So try to play the game with people with similar logic IQ's. Age doesn't matter.

This is a great alternative to Clue especially if you only have 2 players. A bit to do with luck and the rest logic.

We JUST got this as an alternative to Clue, which they did not have in stock at ToysRus. My 7.5 year old LOVES the game so far. On the box it said they try to make games that move quickly so there is less waiting time, which definitely appealed as I have an almost 5 year old with almost no patience. I will say that it is great because at his age, he was able to participate. I also like that you can play a round or two and walk away, rather than having to play for 30 min to finish the game. The thing is, it is more like Mastermind than Clue. There are 4 categories with 6 possible answers and you basically guess and the person in the know lets you know how many are right and you have to guess which ones. I love mastermind, but was expecting Clue so I was a little disappointed. I would recommend this game but I think you need to know what you are getting. I think older children may not like it as much because it is not so exciting after a few rounds, whereas Clue and other board games last longer.
