Thoroughly satisfying, gorgeous artwork, two great heroines, October 24, 2007
This review is from: Murder Princess, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
If you like sword-swinging princesses - well, sort of princesses - you see, mad scientist Akamashi and his crazed but adorable androids Ana and Yuna invade the Kingdom of Forland, assassinate the king, and pretty, demure, and rather timid Princess Alita scampers off into the forest, where an evil tree trips her over a cliff, but instead of dying she collides head-first with Falis, a bounty hunter traveling with her two companions, Dominikov, a Death God (no, do NOT think "Death Note") and Pete Armstrong, a huge fellow with fists the size of most people's heads - and the two heroines exchange souls. OK, now, moving on to Chapter Two...
"Murder Princess" is a fast-paced picaresque adventure of the two gorgeous heroines as they take on orcs, goblins, assassins, evil Black Knights, witches, nasty magical hornets and the princess's butler, who frowns upon Falis' tendency to eat dinner by stabbing the meat course with her knife. Eventually - but I won't tell you what finally happens; that'd spoil all the fun. And very satisfying it is. So, if you like sword-swinging princesses, you will love "Murder Princess." Highly recommended.

Fun book, July 23, 2007
This review is from: Murder Princess, Vol. 1 (Paperback)
Good art, amusing story...I even read it more than once. Got this originally because NewType recommended it, and the recommendation was pretty solid.
Just a FYI, don't let the word Murder mislead you -- it isn't about an evil princess...not directly.
