I really enjoyed this book; it felt more like watching the old TV series, which I loved. Some of the books have Jessica drinking wine, etc. a lot, which I don't think she did so much, at least not in my mind. This book was "homier" and Jessica seemed more like she used to on TV. I loved reading this book.

I really like this series and unlike alot of the faithfull
readers of MSW, I don't always read them in order.
When the book has a theme or a Holiday in the plot, I like
to read them at that time, Murder on Parade was set
around the 4th of July events in Cabot Cove and even brought
back a few old faces to help with, what else, a body found at
the end of the fireworks show. It also reminds us, to watch what
we say and to whom we say it. Nope, not going to tell you any
more about that........Go read the book.

....so was delighted to have this book take me right back to the roots of Jessica, Cabot Cove and Murder She Wrote. I loved how so many charters had their own story and all of those blended right in with the murder plot. Definately one of the best of the series. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful book for MSW fans. The setting is Cabot Cove and Amos Tupper is back in town to help unravel the mystery!

i love murder she wrote t.v and books. it is light reading but keeps the reader trying to figure out who don it. the endings are alwasy a surprise.

At last, an entry in the series that captures the flavor of the TV show! Diehard MSW fans have had to put up with some serious blunders from this series, things like Mort saying "Ayuh" as Amos might have, his wife having the wrong name, and worst of all, Jessica DRIVING in one edition! Looks like Donald Bain has finally watched some episodes--this book is of a MUCH higher quality, is set entirely in Cabot Cove, and even explains the goof-up over Mrs Metzger's name (this is now his second wife, which is an acceptable explanation).

As far as the plot, I enjoyed it immensely, especially the subplot about Seth's practice.Amos is back in town on vacation. The villains were not all that exciting, but I am not complaining. The best MSW novel yet!

My only complaint: get rid of dull Jim Shevlin and bring back SAM BOOTH, the real mayor of Cabot Cove!!!

Another interesting Jessica Fletcher adventure. Nice to see Sheriff Tupper back but all in all, I didn't find it as fun and good as some previous stories. I like to read these books in the order of their publication but this didn't grab me as much as Jessica's recent Alaskan adventure!

I purchased the book as a gift. My friend is disable and she loves the

MURDER, SHE WROTE series. I will definitely will be purchasing other

copies for her as I find them.

this book was rather good except it took a while to get going. i would have liked the beginning to be a little more suspensful but i still thought it was good.
