4.0 out of 5 stars Very fun game for friends
I have really enjoyed this game with my friends. There is a lot of great mystery in the way it works. I would love to see an expansion for this that adds new places and people. It's equally as fun to play as Jessica as it is the Murderer.

3.0 out of 5 stars A simple game of murder and mystery...but not for everyone.
Published in 1985, when "Murder, She Wrote" was still fresh, this rare game is a fun diversion for four to six adults. It is important to note that the game relies on secrecy, logical deduction, and honesty on the part of its players, so it is not well suited for children. [The mechanic of one player being the murderer intent on killing five or more (non-player)characters may also determine who will enjoy this game...] The game itself is ugly, with bad artwork and cheap cardboard pieces. This shouldn't interfere with how the game plays, except that it is important that the tokens and player cards look the same when placed face down. The copy I received, despite being listed as 'collectible,' was anything but. The murderer card was bent, making it immediately visible from the back, and several of the "dead/alive" tokens had tears-probably from when they were first punched out. If you are planning on purchasing this game to play, you must ensure that all the pieces are intact and free from such marks or tears. This game is comparable to "Clue-The Great Museum Caper," another rare game for grown-ups, and might be enjoyed by fans of this style of game.
