Haughton Murphy's MURDER TAKES A PARTNER is a fun amateur sleuth mystery, which takes the reader backstage to the world of ballet.
All the personalities that are active in the major production of a big city ballet company have deep personal reason to want to see the brilliant Clifton Holt dead and buried. An egomaniac of the first order who delights in building a stunning stage presence of glittering fantasy and then by dark strokes destroys his creation.
When it is discovered that the simple random shut case is a murder for hire, Reuben Frost and his new friend Detective Luis Bautista search clues from around the country to discover the killer before he/she can strike again.
Just great page turning as you pick your favorite candidate, but twisted enough to keep you wondering.
Nash Black, author of WRITING AS A SMALL BUSINESS.
