Weakest in the series but still a good read
on September 13, 2012
The third installment of this series is a little different from the first two in that it's more of a murder mystery. As I enjoy historical mysteries, this didn't bother me. But I felt like this one didn't make as much use of the humor and charm the first two books had and it annoyed me when Maggie is portrayed as sharp and intelligent, yet didn't think to mention a crucial piece of information until very late in the book. So not the best of the series but still very readable and I'm hoping the series continues.
