Haughton Murphy serves up a delicious double murder with MURDER TIMES TWO. Ruben and Cynthia Frost attend a meeting of their book club at the home of Tobias and Robyn Vandermeer. While discussing VANITY FAIR over drinks in the living room Tobias is murder by poison in full view of the entire book club.
The shock sends waves as high as Gracie Mansion where Robyn, the beautiful widow of the deceased is to be honored by the mayor of New York for her work in a literacy project.
The suspects include Ruben, Dr. Wayne Givens (TV psychiatrist), Sherman Deybold (art dealer), and Robyn. Tobias's will leaves his fortune to charity because he has previously deeded his wife a life interest in his trust fund. From this things get more complicated as Tobias's part of the trust is to go to the foundation operated by Dr. Givens.
Reuben and Cynthia are in Brazil when Robyn is strangled in her home. Now two murders are rocking the upper crust of wealthy New Yorkers.
