From Library Journal
Retired lawyer Reuben Frost, 77 and an amateur New York detective, has everything necessary to solve the poisoning death of wealthy acquaintance Tobias Vandermeer: an ideally located townhouse, an astute wife, political connections, and a personal computer. While eliminating names from a small list of suspects, Frost always remains self-assured (if not imperious), confronts danger without getting dirty, machinates events with a phone call, and even manages to squeeze in a trip to Brazil. A fine addition to the series, with attraction and asperity for all.
