There's something for everyone in this: Titanic maniacs get a 1,000-piece puzzle presenting yet one more image of the unsinkable ship before it, well, you know. Romantics get to read a tale of wealthy twin sisters who face love and betrayal on that fateful night in the frigid seas. Mystery buffs get a murder that can only be solved by piecing together clues from both the story and the puzzle. It's a perfect marriage of elements that can keep one or more people involved for days before the big picture, in every sense, is revealed. The handsome box for this package is a real eye pleaser, but don't be fooled by the collage of photographs, jewelry, and a gun on its cover: the image is not the same as the one in the puzzle itself. --Tom Keogh

From the Manufacturer

Murder on the Titanic isn't just another jigsaw puzzle. It's a murder mystery waiting to be solved. First, read the booklet and meet 105-year-old Gwendolyn Everton as she reveals certain secrets about her voyage on the ill-fated vessel. Note that Gwendolyn is a bit hazy on the details of her twin sister's death. Next, assemble the 1,000-piece puzzle to uncover hidden clues. It's a mystery of titanic proportions, and it's up to you to sort through the evidence and expose the murderer. A great gift for puzzlers, mystery buffs and Titanic fanatics. Includes puzzle and mystery booklet. The finished puzzle measures 23'' x 29''. Suitable for puzzlers ages 15 and up. BePuzzled is more than just jigsaw puzzles. It's puzzle-plus. I had a great time putting the puzzle together. The puzzle was enjoyable and kept my attention. I couldn't wait to finish the puzzle and "solve" the mystery. I own other mystery jigsaw puzzles like this, and the Titanic puzzle is top on my list.

This puzzle was fun to put together. There is no picture to go by which makes it a little more challenging. The completed picture is more for a woman than a man. The story is adaquate, it answers the mystery. It does leave one wondering why a particular character would have the need to pretend in the first place, yet it ties up the main question. If you like jigsaw puzzles, this one is worth the time.

I've been a fan of mystery puzzles for years. Although assembling the jigsaw puzzle is entertaining, the story itself, particularly its resolution, is very disappointing.

If you are looking for any sort of a satisfying mystery, you will be let down. If you are looking for a fun jigsaw to pass a few hours, you will be quite satisfied. It's just a shame that the strength between the mystery and the jigsaw puzzle couldn't have been more balanced.

The puzzle is very fun to put together-- enough distinctive colors, with challenging "same color" spots. Just wish the mystery wasn't SO easy to figure out just from reading the booklet. I suggest doing the puzzle first, examining it, and then reading the story for this one.

I got this for my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas. I get them a puzzle of some sort every year as a tradition we have. They loved this one and had a great time putting it together. Not too difficult and not too easy. A good way to pass some holiday evenings.

Beautiful puzzle! Tons of fun! Very challenging! I love the mystery in a box with no picture to help solve it. This was a very creative idea and I cannot wait to buy the others in this collection. I highly recommend for the mystery lovers or puzzle addicts!
