Forty-something mom solves art community crime!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Murder at the Mendel (Hardcover)
I chose to read this book because of its Saskatoon setting. It was instantly captivating to read about familiar streets and buildings. The Mendel Art Gallery and Spadina Crescent are signatures of Saskatoon.I enjoyed having a forty-something female - especially a working mother - as the main character and sleuth...makes it seem like us regular folk just could have excitement in our lives! On top of it all, I learned something about my home town and province....the South Saskatchewan River really does empty into Lake Winnipeg! |
