5.0 out of 5 stars INSANE!!!!!, November 23, 2004
This review is from: Murder's Concept (Audio CD)
If one word could be used to describe this band, it would be Insane! There is so much going on itis hard to digest all the riffs and drumming jammed into this album. These songs are completely abstract and very dissonant at times but still extremely straightforward and brutal as heck. This band is highly underrated! I have always been a huge old Cryptopsy and Suffocation fan and Yattering are totally right up there with those bands. Yattering's drummer sounds like Neil Peart on crack! The guitar riffs are some of the most original and creative I have ever heard in Deathmetal. Yattering are the future of Deathmetal. They combine virtuoso technicality, abstract song writing and an overall devastating sound. Pick this up right now!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Killer, April 10, 2001
This review is from: Murder's Concept (Audio CD)
These guys have the tight/'sloppy' rhythmic feel down, and the riff structures are WAY more varied and interesting than most death metal. I, for one, dig the ambient interludes between each piece, they add a pretty menacing feel to an already EXTREMELY menacing album. The production's pretty damn good, and basically they just kill. Gorguts, Cryptopsy, Cephalic Carnage fans MUST get this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yup!!, August 22, 2004
This review is from: Murder's Concept (Audio CD)
A great and relentless release from yaterring and very much brutal as hell. I must say that, i found "murder's concept" by yaterring to have a realy intelligent and intellectual sound alltogether. Can't realy explain the genious that are the musicians and very much not your idiotic and dumb deathmetal at all. I recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh Yeah., July 24, 2007
This review is from: Murder's Concept (Audio CD)
Polish death metal outfit Yattering's 2nd album, "Murder's Concept", is an album that can easily define "brutal/tech death hybrid". With relentless guitar riffs and hooks, banshee-style shrieks and low-pitched grunts, songwriting only for the complex minds, and just some of the greatest death metal to come out, "Murder's Concept" is an album that is not to be missed, and it is yet another reason why Poland has some of the most excellent death metal bands nowadays. Recommended if you enjoy the brutality of Vader and the weirdness of Gorguts.

Seems like all the new bands are coming out of the east bloc now. Yattering are licensed by Relapse from a French label. Music is total Death/Grind in the Relapse fashion. It is fast and chaotic. They lyrics are sub-cannibal corpse gore for the most part. The growls aren't that impressive, but they are aggressive enough to work. They are backed by Grindish screams here and there. "The Murderer" is probably my favorite track. If you like extreme music, pick this up, but get Nasum and Nile 1st.

4.0 out of 5 stars Energetic, fast and sick... AWESOME, August 2, 2000
This review is from: Murder's Concept (Audio CD)
My friend just bought this CD and told me to check it out. I was quit impressed with the blood rush and anger that runs through my veins every time I listen to it! Death Metal to it's limit. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because song no.8 is way out of line... Other that that, is brutal, intense...If you like Cannibal Corpse... you get the idea! Now get it! You won't regret

5.0 out of 5 stars this album is relentless, June 26, 2002
This review is from: Murder's Concept (Audio CD)
this cd is the best death metal cd to come out in a long time. my favorite songs are "exterminate" and "anal narcotic". the music is pure insanity. the vocals are disgusting. the most bizarre thing about this album is that there is some kind of defect on track 2 that causes your cd player to go nuts. i think it makes the album that much more interesting. get it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very solid brutal death/grind., April 2, 2001

Yattering is a polish brutal death metal band with a sound in the vein of Suffocation and Dying Fetus. I would have to call their style very brutal grinding death metal. Almost all of the songs are good. In terms of brutality they are probably a little more than Suffocation but I can think of a few bands twice as brutal (Deeds Of Flesh, Disgorge(mex), Disgorge(us)). They do sound very similar to Suffocation but they are faster. I recommend Yattering to any brutal/gore death metal fan.
