Review

Praise for Ashley & JaQuavis:
''Their work has been regarded as some of the premiere titles that have led the way for this growing phenomenon of gritty tales.'' --Urban Book Source --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

About the Author

New York Times bestselling authors Ashley & JaQuavis hit the scene at the age of seventeen. Born and raised in the most notorious neighborhoods of Flint, Michigan, it was only natural for the pair to write about the street life they knew all too well. During their freshman year in college they received national publishing deals, and with the Cartel series they have solidified themselves as two of the best in their genre.

Bravo! Ashley & JaQuavis have truly out done themselves. MURDERVILLE is an amazing story. A story so vividly told that as you read it play like a movie in your mind. This epic tale is one of survival, love, loss, revenge, and regret. Just when you think you've figure it out the rug is pulled right from under you. You'll fall in love with A'shai and you will feel Liberty's pain. You will love this story. If you weren't an Ashley & JaQuavis fan before you will be after reading this book. If i could give more than 5 stars I would!

As usual A&J told another good story...I felt the love and connection between Ashai and Liberty. I also admired Ashai's relationship with Baron and especially Willow. But when it was all said and done..this was a real depressing and sad story. Being familiar with the way these 2 authors write...Ive learned to always think outside the box when it comes to their stories so I was able to figure out the twists and turns before they were actually revealed and this made alot of things predictable to me.

I wasnt really satisfied with the ending and felt it was a bit rushed...It left alot to be desired with more questions than answers. I guess once I'm finished reading the whole trilogy and all the holes are filled then Im quite sure that this will all turn out to be a 5star read...I just have to look at this story as one big puzzle piece and once the rest is released all of it will come together and make sense.....but "so far" this was a typical A&J read for me.

If you are a rookie to A&J stories then you will love this book but as a veteran it just seems like I than read it all before. I give it 3.5 stars

I just finished murderville and this book is so awesome that everyone needs to have this on nook, kindle, or your bookshelves. This is a true love story and it shows the true meaning of love and loyalty and how far you go for the person that you love. This book had me from page one and i could not put it down, and it definitely left me addicted and wanted more. I will not loan this book because these authors are the king and queen on the literary game and deserve for their book to brought and not loaned because it is a classic you must have in your collection. Keep of the good work guys.....

Muderville wasn't what I expected, yet it was what I expected coming from the dynamic duo. Ashley and JaQuavis took you on a journey involving two young kids who didn't have any control of the environment which they were born into. A'Shai and Liberty were from Sierra Leone an impoverished country in West Africa. An unfortunate situation took place that leads Liberty to A'Shai and from there their journey begins. Enter A'Shai and Liberty into the United States in two different cities living and learning two different lifestyles. A'shai learn the good ,bad and ugly that the U.S. has to offer while Liberty heart and soul ache daily from the horrible conditions she was force to live. For me a lot of unbelievable situations occur throughout this story, but when dealing with the black market and the underworld and criminal global issues who truly knows what happens. Ashley and JaQuavis delivered the story from their creative style of writing which I happen to like and made Muderville truly believable. All Liberty and A'shai really wanted was Liberty. I recommend this read, "I'm Addicted".

This was a real good read. Didnt expect there to be more in this first book than the telling of a story, but I got more than I bargined for. I loved the love story between Shai and Lib. But only reason I give it four stars is that in the story there is so much of their past lives but the end of this first book was rushed for me. I wanted a lil more I guess, but I know its coming, just dont let nothing be a dream lol. Over all its my fourth fav(Cartel, Prada plan 1, Prada plan 2 and Diary of a street diva was the bomb for me!)But I believe MV will be a real good contender once the 2nd book hits. I hope Lib gets the justice she deserves in the up coming books because home girl reallyyyyy had a hard life! Cant wait!

First off let me start by saying I don't always need a happy ending but...dayum! Perhaps I was feeling some kind of way when I read this but...it left me very depressed. The tragic horror of these young lovers lives was enough to leave me feeling more than just a little misty blue. I was willing to endure all of the abuse, death, rape, killings etc....IF they had love in the end but WHAM! here comes the ending and I'm left feeling like WTF. Again, I love these writers and I'm not hung up on all storied ending with a pretty bow tie but I just couldn't stomach their life and the end. I guess I just am not tough enough.
