4.0 out of 5 stars Shivers & Quivers, November 30, 2008

This review is from: Murgunstrumm & Others (Paperback)
MURGUNSTRUMM & OTHERS was originally published by Karl Edward Wagner's Carcosa Press, a worthy successor to venerable Arkham House. Almost instantly out of print (along with two fine collections by Manly Wade Wellman and a compilation of E. Hoffman Price "oriental" tales), this superb
gathering of the best of Hugh Cave's pulp spookers has been reprinted by
Wildside (thanks, Wildside), complete with all the Lee Brown Coye illustrations. Cave was a polished craftsman who could tell a lurid tale
well. If you're into Arkham, WEIRD TALES, or slimy monsters, this is
definiely worth it.
