I ordered this stage-2 snow blower when my stage-1 had just died after our 3rd New York storm in January 2011. Yet another Northeaster was in the forecast for the next few days and I worked with my seller to expedite the process. It was drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer and delivered in a cardboard crate on a pallet which the truck driver rolled into my garage. Just in time! Unpacking and asssembly is a 15 min. job: untie the blower from the crate, peel off the paint protection sheets, pull up the handles and fasten them with the supplied bolds, add some gas and you're ready. It comes with oil. The next morning, I hit a fresh foot of the white thing and it took it like a champ. One pull and the Briggs engine started, making you wonder why go through the trouble of hooking up the electric start... High speed for fluffy snow (it has 6 forward gears), slower speed for packed slush by the road: no problemo! The first gear will make the machine climb on trees and you better watch the high speed reverse gear (you have 2): it's fast. Ice blocks fly up 50 feet away and I even cleared my uneven walkway without difficulties. Guess what: I - almost - had fun this morning with my Mean Machine...

I ordered the Snow Blower in the midst of a blizzard. I had some diffuculty getting it as the freight lines were snowed in but when it arrived it cut thru some 21" snow like it was nothing, even where it had driffted to around 36" it was able to handle it without much trouble. I became very popular with all my neighbors in a short time. A snow Blower in Oklahoma is unusual. I hope that it will not be used again but it is the answer to shoveling, it did everything I expected and more. I will reccomend it to anyone. I have a long driveway and it clared it quickly.
