Sharing from the Heart, November 19, 2006
This review is from: Murshid: A Personal Memoir of Life with American Sufi Samuel L. Lewis (Paperback)
Rarely is someone invited to share a journey of such depth, intimacy and openness of heart. As the book unfolds, the reader is taken on a journey that leads to laughter, provocative thought and poignant moments of human encounter. I can only offer heartfelt thanks to the author who so enriches us by the sharing of a portion of his 3-year personal journey with Murshid Samuel Lewis.

Murshid, by Mansur Johnson an excellent read, October 18, 2008
This review is from: Murshid: A Personal Memoir of Life with American Sufi Samuel L. Lewis (Paperback)
When you buy Murshid, by Mansur Johnson, you are in for an adventure in reading. This book follows Mansur's journal of his years with Sufi Mystic Sam Lewis. It's not a quick read, instead it is the sort of book that becomes a life companion, as you follow day by day with a man literally intent on changing the world through his God Realization.
A must read for dance leaders of the Dances of Universal Peace. This book creates an intimate relationship with both the mystic and the seeker as the dances were created and streaming magnificently through Sam, and as he worked tirelessly writing letters to world and spiritual leaders to get these "important people" to heed his message.
I highly recommend this book.
