Usually when a supplement company discontinues a product and creates a new one to take its place, you can be pretty sure that the new one is just going to be a watered down version of the old one. However, this is definitely not the case with Hydroxycut Hardcore Pro. For those of you who don't know, Muscletech recently discontinued a great product called Hydroxycut Hardcore X. In place of it, they came out with their "Pro Series". Being a big fan of the "X Series", I had some misgivings when I first purchased the Pro but I will say that i am impressed with this formula. They worked all the kinks out of it as well as increased the potency. I have never before had so much energy as I do with this new formula and without all the sleeplessness and "jitters" that are apparently so common with most other diet pills. According to the recommendations of several reviewers, I have been supplementing this with another supplement called 'Carb Stopper Extreme' that is supposed to boost the results of the Hydroxycut formula. My results with the two have been outstanding! I have been able to cut 15.3 pounds in just under two weeks and I feel fantastic. This combination has really given me the boost I needed.

I'll agree with the other reviewers that the most noticeable improvement in this product is the presence of the unpleasant side effects I would experience with other fat burners I've taken in the past is less in this one. Not nonexistent, just a lot more tolerable. Be careful if you have never taken this kind of product as it can cause you to feel dizzy and jittery if you don't have a tolerance for it. I've been taking one type of thermogenic or another for the past 15 years so these pills did not phase me much.

I still swear by DMAA, 10 Grams (0.35 Oz) 1,3 Dimethylamylamine (DMAA or Geranamine) Bulk Powder. I was scheduled for surgery back then, that's how bad of shape i was in, avoided it completely and lost over 100 lbs in less than 2 1/2 years. Oddly enough like every other truly effective fat burner I think the FDA is going to take DMAA off the market soon, which I think is a shame as it was one of the very few supplements I ever took that did not effect me in a negative way.

I took Hydroxycut Hardcore X and was bummed when they discontinued it. This new product is incredible. It's not that much different from the previous generation, but the effects are noticeably different. Even at maximum dosage, I don't get shaky and sick to my stomach as I did with the previous formula. In addition, my ability to focus has drastically increased compared to its predecessor. While both products have worked well for increased energy and stubborn fat loss, the pro series is an improvement. On either of these supplements, make sure to increase your nutritional intake before intense exercising or weight training. If you don't, you will feel lightheaded more rapidly than usual because of the increased thermogenics taking place in your digestion. During light to medium intensity cardio you will be just fine, but going into AT or VO2 max without a nutrition increase will make you feel ill.

Lastly, appetite suppression is very noticeable with this version. If you are looking to decrease your caloric intake, this is the best I have tried. A word of warning: do NOT believe your stomach while taking this. I have noticed such a decrease in appetite that I forget to eat when I should which causes ill effects during moderate to heavy activity. However, with proper habits, you should be able to eat 5 times per day without being hungry or sending your body into starvation mode. Kudos to MuscleTech on this one.
