Usually when a supplement company discontinues a product and creates a new one to take its place, you can be pretty sure that the new one is just going to be a watered down version of the old one. However, this is definitely not the case with Hydroxycut Hardcore Pro. For those of you who don't know, Muscletech recently discontinued a great product called Hydroxycut Hardcore X. In place of it, they came out with their "Pro Series". Being a big fan of the "X Series", I had some misgivings when I first purchased the Pro but I will say that i am impressed with this formula. They worked all the kinks out of it as well as increased the potency. I have never before had so much energy as I do with this new formula and without all the sleeplessness and "jitters" that are apparently so common with most other diet pills. According to the recommendations of several reviewers, I have been supplementing this with another supplement called 'Carb Stopper Extreme' that is supposed to boost the results of the Hydroxycut formula. My results with the two have been outstanding! I have been able to cut 15.3 pounds in just under two weeks and I feel fantastic. This combination has really given me the boost I needed.

I'll agree with the other reviewers that the most noticeable improvement in this product is the presence of the unpleasant side effects I would experience with other fat burners I've taken in the past is less in this one. Not nonexistent, just a lot more tolerable. Be careful if you have never taken this kind of product as it can cause you to feel dizzy and jittery if you don't have a tolerance for it. I've been taking one type of thermogenic or another for the past 15 years so these pills did not phase me much.

I still swear by DMAA, 10 Grams (0.35 Oz) 1,3 Dimethylamylamine (DMAA or Geranamine) Bulk Powder. I was scheduled for surgery back then, that's how bad of shape i was in, avoided it completely and lost over 100 lbs in less than 2 1/2 years. Oddly enough like every other truly effective fat burner I think the FDA is going to take DMAA off the market soon, which I think is a shame as it was one of the very few supplements I ever took that did not effect me in a negative way.

I took Hydroxycut Hardcore X and was bummed when they discontinued it. This new product is incredible. It's not that much different from the previous generation, but the effects are noticeably different. Even at maximum dosage, I don't get shaky and sick to my stomach as I did with the previous formula. In addition, my ability to focus has drastically increased compared to its predecessor. While both products have worked well for increased energy and stubborn fat loss, the pro series is an improvement. On either of these supplements, make sure to increase your nutritional intake before intense exercising or weight training. If you don't, you will feel lightheaded more rapidly than usual because of the increased thermogenics taking place in your digestion. During light to medium intensity cardio you will be just fine, but going into AT or VO2 max without a nutrition increase will make you feel ill.

Lastly, appetite suppression is very noticeable with this version. If you are looking to decrease your caloric intake, this is the best I have tried. A word of warning: do NOT believe your stomach while taking this. I have noticed such a decrease in appetite that I forget to eat when I should which causes ill effects during moderate to heavy activity. However, with proper habits, you should be able to eat 5 times per day without being hungry or sending your body into starvation mode. Kudos to MuscleTech on this one.

Being a veteran of Hydroxycut Hardcore X and having such amazing results with it, I had high hopes for the Pro series formula and I have to say, my hopes were well founded! Unlike the "X" formula, I never experienced the shaky, jittery feeling with "Pro". I also found that while taking this, I was able to focus much better than I had been previously. I began taking this originally to help me slim down for a boxing competition but also found that this product really helps me "give it my all" in the gym and get the most out of my workouts. I also recently began stacking this with a product called Carb Stopper Extreme. The two work very well together, Hydroxycut burns fat and suppresses appetite while carb stopper extreme blocks the carbohydrates you eat from turning into fat. I have been able to both retain muscle and continue to lose fat at an incredible rate. So much so that the other guys at my gym have been after me to tell them what I was using. So far I have been able to drop 19 pounds of pure fat in under a month. I would definitely recommend giving this version of Hydroxycut a shot and if you want to go one step further try it with Carb Stopper Extreme

I was expecting more like the regular hydroxycut but this really did not do much for me. I think i am through about half the bottle and have seen 0 results. Consider sticking with the original.

This is only my personal review but I found that this pill did nothing for me... actually, i'm pretty sure it had the opposite effect. I found myself extremely drowsy, unmotivated and having trouble focusing. On top of that, and this might be worse as it's a DIET pill, I was more hungry than before I started taking it! I would eat a full breakfast and be STARVING within the hour. I'm a Weightwatchers member and despite the fact that I have been following the diet I have not lost a single pound, in the past I would have lost MORE than I am while taking the Hydroxycut Hardcore. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and took it for two weeks but am finally frustrated enough to give it up and pass it along to someone else that it might work for. In the past I have taken the Hydroxycut Advanced and it worked very well, if you can I would buy that instead.

Hardcore Pro Series is definitely better than Hardcore X. I always felt sick about 5 minutes after I took my morning dose of Hardcore X, the feeling went away about 3 minutes after it started, but none the less, it was not a nice feeling. Pro Series does not make me feel sick and it gives me the added boost I need every morning when I hop on the treadmill. I use Hydroxycut to help lose weight, and as a matter of fact I had started to plateau with Hardcore X, then made the switch to Pro Series and lost 8 lbs the first week I took it. I have kept the weight off also, I have continued to run and take Pro Series, and I just lost another 7 lbs this week. That makes a total of 80 lbs since January 1. I was always skeptical of stuff like this, but with proper diet and exercise it really does work.

Word to the wise, if you are not planning on changing your diet and exercising don't waste your time. Just like any diet pill, it takes dedication to get results.

I've been a long time user of Hydroxycut products before, and I can honestly say you will get results. HOWEVER, and this is a big however, you may be at risk of serious side effects. The first time I took Hydroxycut I had lost 20 lbs in a month. But despite my quick weight loss I had headaches often, maybe twice a week. And my heart would "flutter" during times where I'm at rest. The longer I've used the product I kept dropping weight which is great, but I started developing hives around my neck and on my arms. To this day I am still using this product because it DOES work for me, and the side effects are manageable and not yet serious.

If you are considering this product, do some research first and look up the risk factors.

I was only able to take these for about 5 days because they made my stomach hurt so much. Im sure they work for some people, but I guess my stomach is too sensitive. They also made me feel a bit light headed. Good luck to you all!

This is by far the worst Hydroxycut product released! I tried Hydroxycut X with some boost in energy and sweated tons during workouts but with this formula I was lucky to make it through work without passing out from loss of energy. For some reason it did the exact opposite of what it promised to do and I ended up missing a few workouts because of falling asleep as soon as I got home! So as far as a review it's a horrible diet supplement but an excellent sleeping pill!
