5.0 out of 5 stars A Museum you can play in! (Whether you're 5 or 50 years old), June 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Museum Alphabet (Board book)
This is an amazing book. Babies stare at the bright art and collage cut-outs, toddlers love the easy-to-turn pages, preschoolers love the scavenger hunt, and grown-ups love that the book has 26 stunning, culturally diverse, masterful works of art! This could just as easily be a gorgeous coffee table book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A favorite at our house, September 22, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Museum Alphabet (Board book)
We received the entire set (shapes, colors, alphabet and numbers)of these books from the MFA in Boston as a gift when our first child was a baby. We love the bright colors, wonderful and varied works of art, and easy tabbed format. Our second child is now two and these books have consistently been in use for over 5 years. They are hands down our favorites for teaching shapes, numbers, colors and alphabet. Also handy as conversation starters with older kids. For instance, the number book shows "3 mummies". My five year old now wants to learn about ancient Egypt and mummies. In the shape book, triangles are shown on a kimono which prompted a discussion of Japan and Eastern Cultures. Wonderful, wonderful books.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of our baby's favorites, July 5, 2007
This review is from: Museum Alphabet (Board book)
We found this book at a used bookstore and it has been a favorite of my daughter's ever since. I like the fact that actual paintings from the museum are used. Even though we must have 200 board books, this one keeps getting picked over and over. I also like that it's not too long, so we can read it every night at bedtime.
