I never run out of uses for this - wonderful for temp hold while marking drill points or by itself. I have had things safely hanging on my walls for years with just this wax. Great stuff!

This product provides a strong adhesive for clear glass placed on clear glass shelves in display cases. It is not completely invisible. However, it is not obvious and does not affect the beauty of the display.

The only disadvantages are 1) It gets the fingers a bit waxy, and 2) The little balsa wood instrument provided is not strong enough to dig the wax out. You will need a strong metal spoon, knife or other flat metal device to dig the wax out of the jar. Neither of these issues are important. The stuff holds great!

We have used this product in our house for years and have used several 13 oz jars. We anchor down display plates and ceramics, crystal in cabinets, figurines etc. As has been said by others, its also great for anchoring down glass shelves. But one of the things I like best is as an anchor behind a framed item to keep it from swinging on the wall (we live in earthquake country) or from potentially jumping off a hanging hook... peace of mind! The items we have framed are some of our most valuable possessions.

Its easy to apply, easy to re-use, easy to clean up. We love it and will always have some on hand.

For 40 years I lived in Southern California, a warm and exciting experience but "earthquake land" also. Living with the constant threat of a tremblor influences all that you do, and Museum Wax is perfect for protecting and holding your displayed valuables, breakables, and bric-a-brack in place on shelving. A small dab of Museum Wax adheres the base of the object to its position on a shelf, or in a cabinet, so that the object is protected from falling and breaking. I lived through six earthquakes. It's 'good stuff!'
