4.0 out of 5 stars Great Music, Great videos but..., February 13, 2006
This review is from: Mushroomhead Volume 1 (DVD)
First of all: Mushroomhead must be one of the most underrated bands in the world. I really enjoyed finally seeing some of their videos (which are amazing) and on-stage performances (we don't get to see much of that in Denmark...) Unfortunately almost all of the behind-the-scenes footage was just the band making bad jokes...and the DVD is too short in my opinion... But for any fan this is a "must-have" object. Next time cut back on the jokes and make a DVD with longer running time!

5.0 out of 5 stars REALLY GOOD DVD!!!! FUNNY!!!!, October 22, 2007
This review is from: Mushroomhead Volume 1 (DVD)
MUSHROOMHEAD is well known for their theatrics and the fact that they don't take themselves too seriously, and that DEFINITELY shows in this DVD.

Most of the videos and the backstage footage is made by themselves, and even thought this dvd is short they do show alot and i mean ALOT of backstage footage. you just have to look in the videos and sometimes put it in slow motion.
the jokes the band does are kinda childish and silly but i thought they were REALLY funny, there is alot of gay jokes like the "big Rub" and alot of the band going crazy and being drunk, breaking stuff and playing with fireworks.
Overall is a really good dvd and if you like mushroomhead you WONT be disappointed.
Over one hour of music videos, tour and backstage footage that occured durring the "XX" and "XIII" world tours.
-Includes the videos "Sun Doesn't Rise" and "Solitaire/Unraveling" as seen on MTV (Headbangers Ball) and Fuse (Uranium)
the videos in this dvd are:
Before I Die
*Kill Tomorrow
*Eternal
*The Dream Is Over
*Becoming Cold (216)
Appearances from the bands Mushroomhead heas toured with over the years.
*Dope
*Motograter
*Lamb of God
*Avenged Sevenfold
*Twisted Method
*Meshuggah

4.0 out of 5 stars BUY THIS DVD, April 18, 2007
This review is from: Mushroomhead Volume 1 (DVD)
IF YOU ARE A FAN OF MUSHROOMHEAD. I like mushroomhead. the new album isnt as good as the old ones but this dvd is worth the money. It has live concert footage. videos and behind the scenes tourbus backstage etc all rolled in one film. The only thing that would make this film better is more live footage. for some reason the song BWOMP is totally left out of this dvd and that is my fav song by this band. anyway i bought it used for ab 11 bucks and it is well worth it. i like to throw it on when i start drinking bc u dont have to pay alot of attention to it but it sounds good. peace

5.0 out of 5 stars Mushroomhead Vol. 1, February 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mushroomhead Volume 1 (DVD)
To put it simply... it's simply awesome. If you're a big Mushroomhead fan, it's a must-have, and if you're just getting into the band then what better way to get to know them than their first DVD? All in all, if you can get your hands on it, do so, as it is getting harder and harder to find.
