Inventive, creative approach to teaching younger students artistry at the piano,
By Itty Bitty (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Musi-Physicality: Piano Technique (Paperback)
Seymour Bernstein's work for adults is well-known for improving tone and touch in mature piano players. For teachers looking for an understandable way to demonstrate these techniques to their younger students, this book is highly recommended. Plenty of drawings, expressive descriptions, and useful exercises will make a real difference in the artistry of your youngest students. Could use more contemporary illustrations in the next edition. A little pricey, keep it as a studio copy, can't expect every student to purchase it at the retail price.
