Wonderful Music, June 13, 2010

Oberlin College admitted blacks to it's renowned music school in the mid 1800s (!!!), and their music deserves to be heard. This music, from these classically trained composers is every bit as good as that of their educated white colleagues, and combines Jazz and classical techniques and sounds, with fiendishly difficult rhythms and sophisticated harmonies. And Hindares plays these to perfection.
