I don't get some of the other reviews. If you need to use a CD for a good nap, try the Sleepy Baby CD.
I set this CD in loop mode every night and it is fine. It's pretty good to use as a background music. Others CDs wake up my son in specific songs. This one is soft but not too quiet like the ones with wave sounds behind the music. Always use some music at night so your baby won't get used to silence in order to get sleep. Now he can sleep when we have some company. We only need to put some background music like this excellent CD. Try it!

Not only is this album relaxing, it actually lulls us all into a peaceful slumber! I purchased this cd and it is my, my husbands, and my 1 year olds favorite! It's soothing melodies from around the world create a serene atmosphere and when played continuously through the night, you will have the most restful sleep! My daughter sleeps through the night without the slightest peep when I play this! Wonderful! Simply wonderful!! I have given many, many of these to friends and family as gifts!! A must have!

Integral part of my bedtime routine,

This CD is an integral part of our nightly bedtime ritual--the one recommended by "The No Cry Sleep Solution" book by Pantley because I am a four month old baby who was waking up every hour to nurse.Some silly people seem to think this CD is supposed to magically make babies sleep. No CD can do that! However, this peaceful music helps Mommy relax for breastfeeding and is the background to our pattern of undressing, diapering, feeding, and then saying goodnight. No one thing has helped me to sleep better, but I am now going 2.5-3 hours of sleep at each stretch, and perhaps this comforting music is helping me to do so.
