I bought this because it was the cheapest I could find. I've never played violin before so I wasn't sure if it was going to be something that I would stay interested in. That way it wouldn't be a big waste of money if I decided I didn't want it anymore.
If you are a biginner or a young kid I would recommend this as a starter. It's cheap so you get what you pay for but it works. I've had no problems with it. If you are somewhat decent at playing I'd go with a better, higher quality violin though.

I purchased this item for my 11 year old son, it is easy for him to use and sounds great!! It was shipped quickly and arrived when they said it would in great condition. I am impressed with the sound, and quality of the construction. It was $50 dollars off the original price and I'd say it would be worth every penny of the normal asking price!! I like that it came with everything need to begin playing....nice case, good bow, and the tuner addition really helped. I would recommend this to anyone interested.
