My mother had a record of this years ago, which she had forgotten. I got her the CD and she loves it. She is in her 50's. I like it, too-it's got catchy intrumentals. No vocals.

Frank Mills has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to compose flawlessly direct, positively charged instrumental music. Although it's been around since the 70's, Music Box Dancer still hits home and picks you up just like it did 30 years ago. I listened to this album over and over again in the 70's as a child, and it has served as an inspiration for my own 'happy' rock guitar instrumental music (Nason Resonance), where I'm sure you can at least here echoes of the wonderful Frank Mills vibe throughout. If you've never heard Frank Mills, definitely pick up this album and possibly his Best Of Frank Mills: Happy Music CD. You won't be disappointed!

Was a nice collection of music although I only knew personally the title tune. Made for nice listening music on a long car trip.

I purchased this item back in the mid to late 1970s and it was a record album back then. I did enjoy the
music. I am happy to get the item on a compact disc. I enjoyed the music now as much as I did back then. I do want to make note is this is instrumental music and its for those who like that type of music. It's not for hard rockers and the like. I would like to say it is a good product and there were no flaws. Also I opted for the fee free shipping and it only took days to get to me. Good job and thanks.

Needed a CD to replace my record album of same by Frank Mills. Am very happy to find it on CD.

I really love the "Music Box Dancer" and there was actually one other cut on the CD that was in the same genre. I suppose the other songs included were "okay" - and maybe I am being too picky - but the quality of the CD was not up to snuff. Reminded me of being in a bavarian restaurant listening to rather canned music -with the notable exception of the two songs I mentioned. I intend to just put the album into my music library and "rip" the two I like and never play the CD again.
But I believe the purchase was worth it. Just should have been a single, and I would have paid the same for it....

I've always liked the album Music Box Dancer since I was a little kid, and when I got older, I appreciated the album more. Thing is, the copy I had was vinyl so these days I couldn't listen to it. This has all the songs from back then, and the three new songs are just as great, especially "Happy Song" and "Chickadee". Those that like this album from way back when as well as Frank Mills' work should definitely give this new album a shot.

the cd case was smashed. one of the tracks had a skip. "fulfilled by amazon" doesn't mean anything. the case had been crushed BEFORE packaging by amazon. in all a really shoddy way of doing business.
