Music City Live!,

This CD Rocks! Bryan Duncan and The NehoSoul Band just blow the doors off of this club on this live CD. We can hear the energy in this live recording that is typically lost in a studio recording. You hear it not only in the music itself, but in the crowd as they are treated to this musical delight! Take MY word, get this CD!!!

This CD is awesome! What a live show! (RickyB is also an awesome bassist) If you ever thought old funksters (over 50) can't do 'it' go to Bryan's website and check out the CD/DVD bundle. . . watching it is proof - and even more fun and enhances the listening experience.

Being a Bryan Duncan fan, I eagerly picked up this CD. I found it disappointing. While you do sense the energy and fun that was there at the gig, the songs we love are full of mistakes, have poor backing vocals and are certainly not to the standard of his incredibly polished studio recordings. I was surprised that one song particularly was left on this album as the band stuffed it up, the b.v.'s miss their cue, Bryan even says "This is a terrible song". Still, it shows his sense of fun and the ability to laugh at himself. Best to buy his studio albums. They are awesome.

Horrible mixing,

I saw Bryan Duncan perform this morning at my church, and was very impressed. So I decided to buy one of his CD's. When I popped it in the CD player, I was very appalled to hear some of the worst mixing I've ever heard. There is virtually no bass at all; and only after serious EQ tweaking does it sound even decent. The songs are OK, but it just doesn't sound right with only treble. Do not buy this; buy some of his studio work instead.
